Founded in 1911, Royal Eijkelkamp has more than 100 years of history in manufacturing excellence with over 80 years as a leading provider of geotechnical tools. Subsea Geo Tools partners with Royal Eijkelkamp to deliver turnkey subsea geotechnical solutions. Subsea rigs are equipped with Eijkelkamp’s industry-leading CPT cone systems and true 150 Hz RotoSonic drill heads allowing our customers excellent results whether they are sampling the ground or testing it in situ.

Niels van den Bos
Niels is a mechanical engineer who brings to the team significant experience engineering seabed and onshore geotechnical machinery, as well as team management expertise. Not only a mechanical engineer, Niels is adept in designing intuitive machine software controls and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Mats van den Bos
Combining his ambitious yet critical mindset with his mechanical engineering background, Mats is responsible for both the development and integration of the latest inventions in his role as Product Manager. Mats continuously strives to develop accurate, reliable and well-designed solutions that create long-term value across the Subsea Geo Tools product range.
Operations
Patrick van Splunter
With over 10 years of expertise across manufacturing, engineering and offshore operations in the geotechnical field, Patrick brings a multidisciplinary perspective to Subsea Geo Tools. Patrick’s extensive on-site experience operating seabed geotechnical equipment has shaped Subsea’s customer-centric design and focus on usability and serviceability of our products.
Commercial
William Bond
William brings 13 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering as a Geologist, Project Manager, Consultant and Business Developer. A CPT specialist, William has dedicated his career to geotechnical best practice and data quality. Alongside his role at Subsea, William is also the General Manager – CPT at Royal Eijkelkamp.
